May, June & Final Post

Avery finally had her actual birthday.  I took the day off and spent it with her.  We had donuts for breakfast, lunch with daddy, spent the afternoon at the zoo, then she got her first manicure & pedicure and wrapped up the day with cupcakes.

Jason & I went to Florida for Dr. Szot's wedding in early May.  It was a quick trip, but we had a great time seeing old friends, being a part of the wedding celebration and having a couple of nights to ourselves.

We attended another wedding in May, this time for Anderson & Kari.  Again, it was nice to have an adult night away and celebrate the beautiful couple.

Avery went camping with Jason and friends.

Avery had her first dance recital and it was awesome.  It was everything you'd expect from a four year old dance recital.  She had no problem being up on stage.

Emily had her first bicycle ride.

Emily started walking 6 days before her first birthday.  She turned one on June 1st and we celebrated with a small family gathering, cake and pictures.  Her favorite thing to do right now is eat.  She is still an amazing sleeper, has two teeth, always happy and loves to giggle.  She can say: momma, dada, book, ball & hi.

The girls are both doing wonderful and love playing together.  Avery loves being a big sister and Emily wants to do everything Avery is doing.

Lastly, we celebrated Father's Day with brunch at Karbach Brewery with the Holcombes.

Finally, this will be my last post.  It's been fun keeping up the blog, but it's also hard to find the time.
